Hello!

I found out about this project in this post. I like the website look but I was unable to find how to download the existing code and what license is being used for code and which for assets. Also: what platforms does it run on? What libraries does it use? :D

I noticed that you have a CC-BY-NC-ND, which I hope you do not use for any game data, as permission to modify and use commercially (within limitations) are part of open source philosophies. Here's a somewhat informative text on noncommercial licenses, if you're interested.

Speaking of philosophy: what is yours for this project? :)

Thanks

PS: it might be good to make the image that is behind this text more light :D

Hey sorry about the lack of info on that post you link to. As i said in that post, i didn't want to post all of the info in my introduction thread so it didn't seem like i was spamming. We have a sourceforge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ura-game/ which can answer a few of your questions, including that our code is under the GNU GPL license.

The CC license you see on the website will be changing to remove the NC clause, it's something we've been meaning to do for a while now, so no worries there. :)

In therms of your question about philosophy, i'm not 100% sure what kind of answer you're looking for. In general, we just have a lot of fun creating the game, learning new things every day, meeting new people, etc.. For the game, we want to create what I call an IMOW or, Immersive Multiplayer Online World. The game, we hope, will have a good emphasis on RP, and will feel seamless, and extremely detailed. I can also refer you to this post.

Thanks for the interest, and feel free to join us in IRC if you feel like it. We're at irc.freenode.net channel #trinityreign. Or you can go here

Thanks!
